When Lottie came to us in June from Texas City ARC, she was in rough shape. She was painfully thin, matted, and we're pretty sure she'd spent her whole life outside. The idea of living in a house? Completely foreign.

Potty outside? Confusing. Dog beds? Suspicious. Furniture? Absolutely not. (She still refuses to jump on it—as far as she's concerned, that's clearly for humans.)

She also needed a slow 2-3 week introduction before meeting my two resident Pyrenees boys. Now? They wrestle, chase each other, and play like they've been siblings forever.

Somewhere along the way, this sweet girl discovered the magical world of dog toys. Crinkly toys are her absolute favorite, and she'll happily parade them around the house with the proudest expression on her face.

The biggest victory? No potty accidents recently! 🎉 She's finally figuring out that house life isn't so complicated after all.

Lottie has the sweetest droopy hound-dog eyes that can melt anyone's heart. She's incredibly gentle, loves every person she meets, and has just enough goofy personality to keep everyone laughing.

Watching her learn that she's safe, loved, and allowed to just be a dog has been one of the greatest joys of fostering.

Whoever adopts this girl won't just be getting a beautiful Great Pyrenees—they'll be getting a gentle soul who has worked so hard to trust the world again. ❤️
