Meet Aztek!
At just a year and a half old, Aztek has already overcome more than any dog should. He came to TGPR from a hoarding situation in the Houston area, where he was living in less-than-ideal conditions and was absolutely covered in fleas. Thankfully, those days are behind him, and this handsome boy is ready for the life he truly deserves.
The amazing thing about Aztek isn't where he came from—it's who he is. Despite everything he's been through, he has the sweetest, happiest personality. He absolutely adores people and greets everyone like an old friend. His gentle nature shines through in everything he does.
Aztek is also wonderfully social with other animals. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and even enjoys the company of cats, making him an easy addition to many different types of homes.
With his loving heart, easygoing personality, and affectionate spirit, Aztek is the kind of dog that fits right into family life. Whether it's joining you on adventures, relaxing at home, or simply soaking up all the love he can get, he's happiest when he's with his people.
