🐾 MEET ARCHIMEDES (ARCH) — A LITTLE LOVE CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING 🐾❤️
Sometimes a dog comes into rescue who just breaks your heart. Archimedes, affectionately known as Arch, is one of those dogs. 💔
This sweet boy wandered onto someone's property in Cleveland, Texas, and one look at him tells you that life has not been kind.
His body is painfully thin, his skin is raw and inflamed, and he's lost so much of his beautiful coat to what appears to be a severe skin condition, possibly mange. He's quite literally skin and bones. We don't know how long he's been suffering or what he's endured to survive, but we know he deserves so much better.
Thankfully, someone cared enough to reach out for help, and TGPR stepped in. Arch is now safely in the care of one of our wonderful fosters, where he'll have a warm place to rest, nutritious meals, gentle hands, and the love and compassion he so desperately deserves.
He has a veterinary appointment scheduled so we can determine exactly what's going on with his skin and begin getting him healthy again.
We know his recovery won't happen overnight. His body needs nourishment, his skin needs healing, and his spirit needs time to learn that he's finally safe.
But here's what we can't wait for: the day we get to share Arch's transformation. The day his beautiful coat starts growing back, his body fills out, and those sad eyes begin to sparkle again.
Arch, your days of simply surviving are over. Now it's time to start living. ❤️
