Meet Pau!
Named after a charming town in France, Pau is one incredibly handsome and gentle boy with quite a story to tell.
Pau had been living alone in the fields of Hockley, Texas, near a neighborhood that was under construction. We were told he had been seen wandering that area for almost a year. As the houses were completed and families began moving in, Pau started seeking out people and attention. He would approach families walking their dogs, hoping for a little affection and the chance to play. This sweet boy was simply waiting for someone to notice him and offer him a safe place to call home.
Thankfully, someone finally did. A kind person took Pau in and contacted TGPR, and he is now enjoying the good life in a loving foster home.
Despite everything he endured, Pau is calm, sweet, and incredibly gentle. He clearly enjoys the company of other dogs and seems grateful for every bit of kindness he receives. After spending so long surviving on his own, Pau is finally learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for—and we couldn’t be happier for him.
