History remembers Emperor Claudius as a a ruler who overcame physical challenges and proved that courage comes in many forms. Our Claude is carrying on that legacy. After being hit by a car, this brave boy was found wandering the side of the road obviously injured. Picked up by some amazing college students, they contacted TGPR and we said yes to helping this boy! He has had surgery to fix his broken leg and crushed hip and has met every challenge with a wagging tail and bright smile. Like his imperial namesake, he may have started life as the underdog, but his story is one of perseverance, strength and heart. Claude is looking for a family who will love him as much as he loves everyone he meets.
