Lumi
Meet Lumi!
Lumi is a three-year-old Great Pyrenees whose gentle heart is every bit as beautiful as she is. Earlier this year, she was found living as a stray and taken in by a loving family. Unfortunately, an upcoming relocation to England means they cannot bring all of their big Texas-sized pets with them, so Lumi is now searching for a wonderful forever home.
Her family describes her as the sweetest dog they have ever known. Lumi is great with people and lives happily with other dogs, cats, and two children, ages 11 and 13. She is well behaved, loving, and seems genuinely thankful for every bit of care and affection she receives. She has adjusted beautifully to being a cherished family pet—although she still appreciates a good dirt bath now and then!
Lumi is spayed and current on her vaccinations. She has experienced skin allergies and itching and currently takes daily allergy medication and probiotics. Her front teeth are also worn down, which her veterinarian believes may have resulted from chewing or grinding on metal while she was surviving on her own.
Despite whatever challenges she faced before being rescued, Lumi remains incredibly sweet, gentle, and trusting. She is ready to bring her loving nature and excellent manners to new family who will treasure her for the rest of her life.
