From a Life on a Chain to a Lifetime of Love
Meet Hoss, a gorgeous 3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as he is! At 80 pounds, this handsome boy is still underweight, but with proper nutrition, lots of TLC, and a whole lot of love, he's well on his way to becoming the big, healthy boy he was always meant to be!
Hoss hasn't had an easy life. This sweet boy spent far too long chained up outside in Carthage, Texas, living in heartbreaking conditions without the love and care every dog deserves. But thankfully, Hoss had a guardian angel watching over him. ❤️
When a wonderful woman learned about his situation, she refused to give up on him. Determined to give Hoss the life he deserved, she stepped in to get him to safety, arranged for veterinary care and grooming, and even paid for his boarding while tirelessly searching for a rescue to take him in.
And now, thanks to her incredible dedication, Hoss is finally getting his second chance with TGPR!
But here's what makes Hoss so special. Despite everything he's been through, this boy is an absolute LOVE BUG! 🥰
Hoss is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and gentle. He loves people, does wonderfully with children, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. He has so much love to give, and all he wants is a family to share it with.
Hoss is approximately 3 years old, heartworm negative, and will be fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped before adoption.
After spending so much of his life at the end of a chain, Hoss deserves everything he's been missing — a soft bed, a safe home, plenty of belly rubs, and a family who will love him unconditionally.
Hoss doesn't need a perfect home. He just needs a family who will make him part of theirs. ❤️
His past may have been heartbreaking, but we know his best days are still ahead of him!
