Alma thought she had found her forever home, but life had other plans. When her owner was incarcerated, Alma found herself back in rescue through no fault of her own. Since returning, she's shown signs that make us suspect that she may have experienced some abuse or neglect along the way, but despite it all, her sweet spirit is still there waiting to shine through.
She can be timid at first and needs patience, kindness and a calm environment where she feels safe. We are grateful she is back with us where she is safe, loved and given the chance to heal. Now, she is looking for a real forever family who understands trust takes time, but the reward is worth it.
