Meet Stuart… aka Koa
Fostered in the DFW area, Koa is looking for a fresh start.

Koa was recently returned due to an unforeseen medical crisis in his previous home involving another dog. While the situation was out of his control, it means we now have the opportunity to place him in an environment where he can truly succeed.

Koa is a GOOD boy. He’s social, highly trainable, and forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people. He wants to connect, to learn, and to be part of a family.

That said, Koa is still an adolescent—big, strong, and very much a puppy at heart. He’s looking for a person who understands how important structure, boundaries, and decompression are for a dog like him. With the right guidance, he will absolutely thrive.

Koa’s ideal home will have:
• No small dogs or small animals
• Experience handling large, young dogs
• The ability to provide consistency, structure, and patience
• A commitment to helping him settle in, decompress, and feel safe
