Photoshoots!
Calling all dog-loving photographers! If your camera’s been idle but your heart’s full of puppy love, join Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue (TGPR) to snap adorable foster dogs and help them find forever homes.
Whether pro or hobbyist, your photos create profiles that capture those soulful eyes and floppy ears, making adoption irresistible.
Ditch the usual weekend plans for fun-filled shoots with wagging tails and slobbery kisses.
Grab your camera and help us frame pawsome moments—one click closer to a loving home!
Freedom Rides!
Volunteer to take a dog on a freedom ride!
The thought of giving a deserving pup the chance to experience freedom, love, and kindness is truly heartwarming. Being able to provide them with a safe and comfortable journey to their next chapter in life brings so much joy.
Every wag of their tail and every sweet glance they give along the way makes for one amazing day!
Foster Field Trip Program
We always have a few dogs boarding for various reasons, usually waiting for an open foster.
Volunteers typically get to know a dog and take them for outings: a walk near the facility, a park, a trip to the coffee house for a pup cup, or even home for an overnight.
This gives the dogs one on one attention, and allows us to learn how well they do in situations with other dogs, cats, children, etc, to help us find the right foster.
Even our dogs in current foster homes can really benefit from Foster Field Trips! A day out with new experiences and new pictures can make all the difference in the world.
